Credit union assembled bikes for military children

ATLANTA - Georgia's Own Credit Union commemorated Veterans Day by building bicycles for military childen.

Hundreds of employees spent the day putting together and personalizing 85 bikes.

The effort took place in downtown Atlanta on Monday afternoon.

Organizers said while there are many charitable organizations dedicated to assisting veterans, there's still a great need to help military families.

The bicycles will be delivered in early December.
