DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Crews are searching for a man who fell into a Douglas County lake and did not emerge.
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources tells news outlets that 24-year-old Alberto Palacios of Douglasville was on a paddleboat with his family when he fell into the water at Sweetwater State Park on Monday evening.
Crews were using sonar boats and helicopters to aid in the search Tuesday.
DNR spokesman Mark McKinnon says the search will continue as long as necessary.
