Data management firm Collibra to create 200 jobs in Atlanta
ATLANTA - A company that sells data management services to businesses is opening its second U.S. office in Atlanta.
Collibra announced Thursday it plans to create more than 200 new jobs in Atlanta over the next three years. Gov. Brian Kemp touted the news as more proof that "Georgia has become a hub for the tech industry."
Collibra was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Brussels and New York. The company's website says more than 400 global customers use its services.
A news release said Collibra is hiring in Atlanta for positions in sales, operations, support, and marketing.
Collibra co-founder and CEO Felix Van de Maele said the company chose Atlanta in part because it's a "a leading tech community" with a "diverse talent pool, and vibrant global culture."
