Deadly crash on I-85 North in Gwinnett County

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - One person died in a Wednesday morning crash on I-85 North in Gwinnett County, according to the Georgia DOT. Authorities indicated that several other people were injured.

The crash involving a single vehicle happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.  All but one northbound lane of the interstate was blocked following the accident.

Investigators responded to the scene near the junction of I-85 and Georgia 316. Police warned that drivers should expect delays in the area for some time.
