HALL COUNTY, Ga. - A 17-year-old is dead, and a man is fighting for his life after a shooting in rural Hall County Wednesday evening.
The deadly shooting happened around 9 p.m. along the 3000 block of Southchase Drive, just off Roy Parks Road.
Hall County deputies arrived at the home and found the teen had been shot multiple times outside a shed that was on the property.

Authorities have identified the boy as 17-year-old Paul Statham Jr. His body was taken to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
The second victim, 31-year-old Tyrenskie Odem, was shot in the pelvic area. Medics rushed him to a nearby hospital in critical condition. As of Thursday he remained in the hospital.
Investigators believe the shooting happened after Statham arrived at the house and started an argument with Odem.
At some time during the fight, officials say Statham pulled out a gun and shot Odem. A third person at the home then shot the teenager, killing him.
The unidentified shooter has cooperated with investigators and has not been charged in connection with the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
