DeKalb County community mourns as police search for teen's killer
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A community is supporting a family after the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy. Mourners held a vigil Wednesday for Christopher Moore.
DeKalb County Police said someone opened fire on a house on Redan Road Monday night, killing Moore and wounding two others. Relatives told FOX 5 News the group was playing video games when bullets flew.
Lisa Harris was overwhelmed by the community's outpouring of love while the family plans her nephew's funeral.
"Whoever did it, we are actively looking for this person. You will be found. And you will pay for what you did to this 16-year-old child," Harris said.
Moore was a rising junior at Towers High School.
Investigators said the other two victims are expected to recover from their injuries.
