DeKalb County police searching for killer hit-and-run driver

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - The DeKalb County police are searching for the driver who hit a person on Candler Road near Eastwood Drive and fled the scene on Christmas.

It happened just before 4 a.m.

Police say the victim was crossing the roadway when an unknown, dark-colored car struck them.

The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.

This investigation remains ongoing.
