Teen dies in accidental shooting in DeKalb County, police say
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - An unidentified 16-year-old reportedly shot himself by accident in DeKalb County Saturday night.
Police said they found the injured teen at 10:56 p.m. in the 4000 block of Shane Trail.
He was rushed to a local hospital where he died.
Detectives said they believe the shooting was self-inflicted and accidental. They are not expecting any charges to be filed.
