DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - The DeKalb County Watershed Management has a lot more to deal in addition to Wednesday’s massive water main break.
Tuesday, Director Scott Towler submitted his letter of resignation to the county. That letter was accepted by the county’s chief operations officer.
The director's responsibilities have been turned over to Acting Director Reggie Wells, who was quite visible on his first day briefing the media and heading up the coordination for restoring water service to the county.
No word yet on an official search to replace Towler.
