ATLANTA - Getting through security will be a breeze for some Delta passengers traveling here in Atlanta.
The airline announced Friday that they will allow travelers to use facial recognition at its termination at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.
Instead of presenting your passport, travelers will be able to use the state-of-the-art technology at several checkpoints at the airport.
Travelers will also be able to use the facial software to check in to fights, as well as boarding the flight.
Customers must enter their information displayed on their passport during online check-in to use the new technology.
Delta will officially unveil the feature at gates on the Concourse F by Oct. 15. The biometric identification will expand to all other touch points on Concourse F by Dec. 1.
