Deputies: 6 shot outside fast food restaurant in Spartanburg
SPARTANBURG, SC - Six people were shot outside a popular 24-hour fast food restaurant in Spartanburg, South Carolina late Friday night.
It happened in the parking lot of the Cook Out located at 1620 John B. White Sr. Blvd. just before 11:30 p.m. The Spartanburg City Police say some sort of shootout happened there.
Deputies say two males and one female were rushed from the scene to the Spartanburg Regional Hospital for treatment. Deputies say three more victims later arrived at the hospital, taken there by personal vehicles. All are expected to survive their injuries. The victims range in age from 16 to 24, according to investigators.
Three vehicles were also shot up, according to deputies.
Investigators do not believe the incident was random and are still gathering information regarding possible suspects. No arrested have been made.
