Deputies arrest man suspected of stabbing Krystal employee

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A Krystal employee is suffering from multiple stab wounds after an attack on Sunday.

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened at the fast food restaurant at 10457 Tara Blvd. in Jonesboro.

The female worker was reportedly stabbed seven times.

In a photo released by authorities, a man was shown wearing sunglasses and a striped white and gray shirt. Investigators suspected the man lived in the area.

Deputies went to a house near the Krystal Sunday evening and arrested a male suspect, later identified as Kendal Thomas.

Thomas is charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery.
