HARALSON COUNTY, Ga. - A Haralson County mother is facing charges Monday just a week after she told FOX 5 News she had no idea where her son was hiding.
Deanna Helton was arrested for a misdemeanor charge of obstruction for giving the police false information.
Her son, Seth Odom, is being questioned in the disappearance of Jessica Earl, also known as Jessica King.
The 31-year-old mother of two was last seen with Odom on June 8.

Odom turned himself into deputies on July 4, but authorities say he hasn't been cooperative.
Authorities said Odom has an extensive criminal history and has numerous warrants out for his arrest.
Deputies earlier arrested a number of people for allegedly helping Odom elude deputies. Authorities considered him extremely dangerous.
Investigators have made an open appeal to the missing woman to come forward for her mother’s sake and her two young children, offering to protect her if she needs it.
There is a $1000 reward in this case, and the family has set up a Facebook page Missing Jessica Earl for any tips.
Deputies ask anyone who may have information or sightings of Earl to please call them at 770-646-2011.
