Deputies identify man arrested after Rockmart armed robbery, standoff
ROCKMART, Ga. - Authorities have identified a man who was arrested Wednesday after an armed robbery turned into a standoff in Rockmart.
The situation started at The Big Bears Store also known as "Chicken, Chicken, Chicken" on North Piedmont Avenue. Then, police said the suspect, 21-year-old Quintin Glover, went to a building on Litchfield Street and hid with a gun.
Officers eventually took Glover into custody. He's facing a number of charges, including armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm, and theft by receiving stolen property.
No one was injured during the incident and no shots were fired.
