Deputy, another driver injured in Clayton County crash

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - An accident sends a Clayton County Sheriff's deputy and another driver to the hospital Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened in front of Jackson Elementary School near the intersection of Mt. Zion Blvd. and Thrailkill Road just after 3 p.m.

The deputy was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital. The other driver was taken to an area hospital.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
