Douglas County Chase Caught on Video

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. - FOX 5 has obtained exclusive dashboard camera video of a chase that ended with a pit maneuver.

An 18-year-old and a male juvenile are behind bars and facing several charges, including theft and drug possession.

It all started early Thanksgiving morning. Authorities were called to the Hilton Garden Inn near Thorton Road about a suspicious vehicle. That’s when investigators said the vehicle took off.

Authorities said law enforcement performed a pit maneuver, which caused the suspect’s vehicle to crash into a tow truck near a Marathon gas station on Lee road.

The tow truck’s dashboard camera captured the end of the chase.
