Dwayne Wade, wife reveal child identifies as female

Former NBA star Dwayne Wade says his 12-year-old who was born a boy now identifies as a girl.

Wade says Zion asked him and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, to now be called Zaya. 

Wade discussed his support for Zaya and the LGBTQ community during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. 

Wade says he and his wife couldn't be more proud of Zaya.
