Eggs recalled after possible Salmonella contamination
ATLANTA - Gravel Ridge Farms has recalled their branded eggs that were sold in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee after a possible Salmonella contamination.
The company said it will be recalling all of its Cage Free Large Eggs in the single dozen and 2.5 dozen sizes with the UPC code 7-06970-38444-6.
These eggs were sold between between June 6 and Sept. 6.
While there have been no specific cases of Salmonella, the recall was initiated after illnesses were reported at places that used the eggs.
