Escaped inmates arrested in Troup County

Two inmates who escaped from the Troup County Jail last week are now in custody.

The Troup County Sheriff's Office announced on their Facebook page that Thomas Cuddington was taken into custody on Monday.

Last Friday, the Troup County Sheriff's Office announced Eric Bell had been taken into custody by LaGrange Police. He was found on Hamilton Road. 

Eric Calvin Bell and Thomas Christopher Cuddington were seen on surveillance cameras climbing down from a drain pipe on the front of the Troup County Sheriff's Office just before 11 p.m. last Wednesday. They were then caught running up Sam Walker Drive toward Hamilton Road.

Authorities realized they were missing around 8 a.m. on Thursday. 

The Troup County Sheriff's Office thanked the LaGrange Police Department for their assistance with the capture of Cuddington and Bell.
