Family members are outraged that several people posted a stabbing death on social media rather than get the victim help.

Latrell Blackmon, 32, found stabbed to death in the Quest Enclave Apartments in the 600 block of Cameron M. Alexander Blvd around 10 p.m. Monday. Her family said the behavior of Blackmon's friends was inexcusable.

"She could have been saved. If they could have dialed 911 while they are videoing it. Anybody with common sense says why are you videoing it, you need to be calling 911," Blackmon's aunt Ann Wilson said.

"It's just crazy for somebody to kill somebody then put it on Snapchat and they are laughing. You look at it, they are laughing," remarked Blackmon's uncle Charles Johnson.

Police said Blackmon died at the scene. They said the video of her death was posted to Snapchat and Facebook.

Investigators spent the evening going over the apartment complex for any evidence point to a possible killer. Officers swarmed the area searching for a possible suspect.

Police said they want to talk to Blackmon's friends who were on the scene Monday night.

No arrests have been made yet.

A vigil for Blackmon will take place on November 26 at 7 p.m. It will be at the crime scene, 630 Cameron M. Alexander Boulevard in Atlanta.
