Two killed in South Fulton crash
Two people were killed on Tuesday during a crash in South Fulton.
SOUTH FULTON, Ga. - First responders are at the scene of a crash in South Fulton which killed two senior citizens.
Firefighters said it happened at an extremely busy intersection around 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Officials said a man and a woman were in a car turning left from Bethsaida Road onto Jonesboro Road when they were struck by another car.

Firefighters said they had to tear into the vehicles using specialized machinery to get the two out, but it was too late. Both had died at the scene.
Wednesday, police identified the victims as husband and wife Leon Watson, 82, and Christine Watson, 79.
The driver of the other vehicle was rushed to an area hospital.
Investigators will try to determine what went wrong and possibly make recommendations to make the intersection safer.
