Mom allegedly killed by ex's 'new girlfriend'
A mother was gunned down at the Reserve at Hollywood Apartments in the Scotts Crossing neighborhood of Atlanta. Police identified the gunman as the new girlfriend of the victim's ex-boyfriend.
ATLANTA - An early morning shooting in northwest Atlanta appears to be some type of love triangle. It has left a mother dead.
Police responded to a call of a person shot at The Reserve at Hollywood Apartments in the Scotts Crossing neighborhood.
Investigators say a domestic dispute involving one man and two women ended with a former girlfriend shot dead and a current girlfriend taken to police headquarters for questioning along with the boyfriend, who police describe as a witness.
The victim's name has not been released, but FOX 5 Atlanta has been told she is 28 years old.
The Atlanta Police Department now classifies the deadly shooting as a "Felon Killed by Private Citizen."
