Feds make public appeal to find Atlanta murder suspect
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The FBI-led Atlanta Metro Major Offender (AMMO) task force asked for the public’s help Thursday to find a man wanted for murder by the Atlanta Police Department.
Crime Stoppers Atlanta has offered a reward to help find 26-year-old Larenzo Marcel Drayton, wanted for a murder that happened during a home invasion on January 21.
According to an FBI news release, Drayton and 26-year-old David Freeman entered an apartment, displayed guns, and attempted to rob the occupants. One of the occupants produced their own weapon and fatally shot Freeman.
According to the release, Drayton fled the scene in a vehicle driven by a third suspect, G’Andre Wash. Police have also charged Wash with murder.
Investigators consider Drayton armed and dangerous.
