Firefighters respond to blaze at Marietta high school

Firefighters were out at Walton High School in Marietta Tuesday afternoon.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the school located at 1590 Bill Murdock Road and spotted firefighters dumping water on a portion of a building under construction.

Cobb County Fire officials said they were called out to the scene just before 5 p.m. Officials said a section of insulation caught fire.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control within a half hour.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
