Flock of starlings put on beautiful aerial show
Some birds are getting into formation in Israel and putting on a beautiful aerial show in the process.
The murmuration, a technical term for shifting shapes that look like vast dancing clouds created by starlings, fill the skies of southern Israel and surrounding areas in winter.
Experts say that by changing movements and shifting collective shape the birds can confuses their would-be attackers.
Millions of startling used to gather in Israel during the winter, but in the past 20 years, those numbers have dropped to a few hundred thousand, experts say.
