Former Cobb County DA sworn in as GBI Director
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has a new director.
Former Cobb County District Attorney Vic Reynolds was sworn in Monday afternoon at the State Capitol.
Governor Brian Kemp spoke about Reynolds' unmatched experience -- notably, in cracking down on gang activity and prosecuting gang members.
The governor says Reynolds will play a key role in putting together and heading a gang task force in the state.
Reynolds replaces Vernon Keenan who retired January 1 after 16 years in the position.
