Former GBI inspector indicted for fraud

A grand jury indicted a former Georgia Bureau of Investigation inspector accused of charging more than $60,000 on her government credit card.

Investigators said Sandra Stevens rang up more than 300 personal charges on the card and then submitted altered receipts for the purchases to the GBI.

Those purchases reportedly included a seven-piece dining set, two chaise lounge chairs, and a 65-inch HD television.

Stevens was charged with mail fraud and federal program theft.
