Former officer arrested for aggravated sexual battery, child molestation
RICHMOND HILL, Ga. - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested a former Richmond Hill Police officer on charges of aggravated sexual battery and aggravated child molestation.
On Aug. 22, 24-year-old Jeffrey Allen Allmond, Jr. was placed on administrative leave after an allegation that was made against him of sexual misconduct. Investigators said Allmond is accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual acts with an underage female on multiple occasions.
Allmond was arrested and booked into the Bryan County Jail.
Allmond started working for the Richmond Police Department in July 2017 and was fired when the Chief of Police learned the results of the investigation.
