At 10 a.m. Jan. 22, deputies was dispatched to a home on Jefferson Place following the discovery of a deceased individual. The body of 46-year-old Anthony Gennaro Persichetti was found by his ex-wife, who had visited the residence after he failed to show up for work.
The ex-wife informed detectives that Anthony shared the home with their 24-year-old son, Anthony David Persichetti, and expressed concern that their son might have been involved in the incident. As authorities attempted to locate Anthony David, they received a call from the Dekalb Medical Examiner’s Office requesting a death notification.
