FULTON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A new plan in the effort to keep metro Atlanta’s homeless population warm during the winter months.
Fulton County is partnering with members of the Indo-American community to provide blankets to those living on the streets.
County Chairman Rob Pitts announced the partnership Monday at The Nicholas House.
It's a homeless shelter that keeps homeless families together.
He says the plan is to distribute 5,000 blankets to homeless individuals and families.
