Gainesville man charged with making terroristic threats

HALL COUNTY, Ga. - A Gainesville man is now in police custody after the Hall County Sheriff's Office said he made terroristic threats. 

Larry Jewell Burrell, 54, broke a window, damaged a door at a home in the 2400 block of Broadway Place, according to deputies with the Hall County Sheriff's Office. 

Deputies say Burrell was acting violently and using loud and profane language and he kicked deputies while they were trying to arrest him. 

Authorities say Burrell also threaten deputies. 

Burrell faces charges of making terroristic threats, felony obstruction, and criminal trespass. He was booked at the Hall County Jail.
