Georgia 400 SB closed after single-vehicle accident near Mansell Road

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - A serious single-vehicle crash brought traffic to a standstill on Georgia 400 southbound near the Mansell Road exit on Friday afternoon, according to the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.
Emergency crews, including Alpharetta police, fire, and EMS personnel, responded to the scene shortly before 3 p.m. The crash involved one vehicle with a single occupant, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Traffic was diverted off the highway at the Mansell Road and Haynes Bridge Road exits.
The Alpharetta Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
