Georgia medical cannabis commission holds first meeting

ATLANTA - A new state committee held its first public meeting Wednesday night to discuss the production and sale of cannabis oil in Georgia.

The Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission heard from a group of people they invited to Morehouse School of Medicine.

Board members are developing a plan to license up to six private companies and two universities to produce low THC oil for Georgia's registered patients.
