Many schools around Georgia continue to be impacted by Friday's winter storm, with counties announcing cancellations, delays and virtual learning days.
Some Georgia students are going for a four-day weekend as schools around the state announce closures on Monday due to inclement weather. Other learning institutions are planning delays and transitioning to virtual/digital learning days.
This comes just days after Friday's winter storm sent snow, sleet and ice down on metro Atlanta and North Georgia. The state is still thawing out, and recovering from the storm's icy impact.
