Unemployment at all-time low

Georgia unemployment rate reaches an all-time low at 3.3 percent

ATLANTA - Georgia's unemployment rate last month hit 3.3 percent.

That's the lowest since the federal government started keeping records in 1976.

The report released Thursday reveals the state added 6,500 jobs, bringing the total jobs number to 4.64 million.

Officials say the state saw strong growth in education and health services, the hospitality industry, trade transportation, and construction.
