Georgia's first lady announce commission to fight human trafficking
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Georgia's first lady, Marty Kemp announced the members of the GRACE Commission.
Last month her husband, Governor Brian Kemp signed an executive order establishing the commission.
GRACE stands for Georgians for Refuge, Action, Compassion, and Education.
The task force is made up of law enforcement officers, healthcare officials, public officials, non-profit organizations, and others.
Their mission is to work to combat human trafficking in Georgia.
First lady Kemp says human trafficking is a problem our entire state needs to work to stop.
She says she plans to meet with city officials on May 8 to discuss the best strategy moving forward.
