Girl Scout Day at the Georgia State Capitol
ATLANTA - Hundreds of Girl Scouts rallied at the Georgia State Capitol Tuesday.
They held a Milk and Cookies reception in the afternoon so scouts and troop leaders could meet with lawmakers.
One topic of discussion, re-naming the Eugene Talmadge Memorial Bridge which is in Savannah.
The Savannah City Council is accepting proposals for new names and the Girl Scouts want to name it after their founder, Juliette Gordon Low, who is also a Savannah native.
