Group gives teddy bears to police for children in time of need

MCDONOUGH, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - An Atlanta area biker group is giving back children in a big way.

Members of the Thunder Riders West Harley Davidson group drove to the McDonough Police Department Thursday night to deliver 100 teddy bears.

Each bear is protected in a clear bag and will sit in the back of police cruisers and ambulances.

Organizers say the bears will provide comfort to children who police encounter on call.
