GSP car hit by motorist, trooper not hurt

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Atlanta police are investigating a crash involving a Georgia State Patrol trooper. 

It happened on the Downtown Connector near Williams Street early Thursday morning. 

Police said the trooper was escorting a street sweeper when someone slammed into the back of the trooper's patrol car. 

One person was taken to the hospital. 

The trooper wasn't hurt.
