Historic DeKalb Chick-fil-A reopens after makeover
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - The remodeled Chick-fil-A on North Druid Hills is now open!
People camped out outside of the DeKalb County restaurant overnight in anticipation of Thursday's grand re-opening... and to win free Chick-fil-A for a year!
Chick-fil-A employees handed out cards to 100 people early Thursday morning, who spent the night outside in the rain. The company also held a book drive for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
FOX 5 was there as people who were camped out said they were just excited to see the historic location open again. The North Druid Hills location was the first stand-alone Chick-fil-A to be built back in 1986.
The restaurant has been undergoing renovations since August.
