Home Depot Backyard outside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium

ATLANTA - Work on the new Home Depot Backyard outside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium continues.

Developers showed off the 11-acre green space and its innovations.

It be used to host tailgating on game days for the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United.

Officials said it will have limited infrastructure there intentionally so it can be a flexible use space. They hope to also use it for concerts, reading in the park, and even yoga.

The space is set to be complete in September.
