Homeowner tied up, threatened during violent home invasion

ATLANTA - Atlanta Police are searching for the man who violently threatened a homeowner and stole more than $75,000 worth of items.

The woman told police she returned home last Friday to find a man already inside her home in the Peachtree Park neighborhood.

Officers said the man was armed with the victim’s handgun, as he tied her up and forced her face down on her bed.

Investigators said the man left her tied up as he got away with her gun and several pieces of expensive jewelry.
