Inmates to be moved from DeKalb County Jail for repairs

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Hundreds of DeKalb County inmates will soon be transferred to different jails around metro Atlanta.

The move comes after officials discovered parts of the jail have a serious mold problem.

Around 300 inmates will be transferred to one of four jails which include Rockdale, Fulton, Clayton County jails and the Atlanta City Jail.

Each transfer will last about a month and the repairs are expected to wrap up in about three months.
