Jackson County cyber-attack

JACKSON COUNTY, Ga (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Officials confirm a cyber-attack in Jackson County on Monday.

Jackson County Manager, Kevin Poe said the county experienced a cyber-attack and was held for ransom on Monday.

It was not immediately known if the attack was similar to an attack on the city of Atlanta’s computers back in March 2018.

Officials have not released how the attack is affecting city services.

The attack is under investigation.
