COBB COUNTY, Ga. - The jury started deliberating the fate of an Austell mother accused of killing her disabled toddler for money.
In court Thursday, prosecutors argued that Erica White gave her 2-year-old Tyrael McFall a lethal dose of codeine.
They said she wanted to cash in on the child's life insurance policy worth $50,000.
Prosecutors said White and her boyfriend also tried to open credit cards in the child's name.
White's attorneys argued White's boyfriend was actually behind many of the events that led to the child's death
