Kroger 'Bag-Off' competition

ATLANTA - It was a race against time for a group of Kroger’s best baggers in Georgia.

They manned the checkout lines at the Glenwood Avenue store in Atlanta Wednesday as part of the 22nd annual Kroger Georgia Bag-Off.

The nine competitors came from all over the state to compete for college scholarships and the opportunity to represent Kroger at the Georgia Food Industry Association's Bag-Off in July.

The baggers were judged on several skills including weight distribution, speed, technique, overall style, appearance, and attitude.
