On Dec. 17 at approximately 10:16 a.m., LaGrange police responded to a report of a person shot at 9 Handley Street. Officers arrived to find the victim, Cadarius McCord, suffering from a gunshot wound. Police applied a tourniquet to provide lifesaving measures before McCord was airlifted to an Atlanta-area hospital for further treatment. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The LaGrange Police Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene, utilizing a FARO machine to map and scan the area.
