Lawrenceville woman found dead inside home

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Police are investigating after a 60-year-old woman was found dead inside her Lawrenceville home.

Lawrenceville Police said they were called out to a home on Stone Mountain Street just before 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. Officers said the brother of the resident found the woman, identified by police as Cheryl Ann Loving, dead in her home.

Investigators said there were no apparent signs of struggle, but that Loving appeared to suffer a gunshot wound.

Her body will be taken to the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
