Lenox Square, Ronald McDonald House collecting winter coats for kids
ATLANTA - Lenox Square has teamed up with Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (ARMHC) to host a winter coat drive throughout January, benefiting children served by ARMHC's Care Mobile.
Shoppers are encouraged to donate new coats of all sizes at designated bins near the escalators by American Eagle on the Mall Level or inside the Mall Management Office near the Dining Pavilion on the Market Level. The coat drive runs through Jan. 31.
"This partnership with ARMHC’s Care Mobile affords Lenox Square the opportunity to contribute to an important cause," said Robin Suggs, General Manager of Lenox Square. "By fostering meaningful relationships with local organizations such as Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities, we believe we can support and empower families while giving back to our community."
ARMHC’s Care Mobile, a 40-foot-long mobile medical clinic, provides essential healthcare services such as primary care, immunizations, and asthma treatment to children in need. In partnership with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Hughes Spalding, the Care Mobile has cared for over 1,000 children in 2023 alone. ARMHC President and CEO Tracey Atwater emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating, "This coat drive will provide the wonderful gift of warm coats to children this winter, making a significant impact for families relying on our Care Mobile for accessible pediatric care."
