Retired Paulding County sheriff passes away
PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. - The Paulding County Sheriff's Office mourns the loss of one its own.
Retired Sheriff Bruce Harris passed away Sunday at the hospital.
The sheriff's office says Harris worked for the department for 16 years.
Deputies credit Sheriff Harris with bringing the sheriff's office into the 21st Century with numerous technological advances.
The Sheriff's Office says Harris was the longest-serving sheriff in the county.
